I had an INCREDIBLE weekend at Summer Swing Classic. Relaxing by the pool during the days and great dancing all night Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights! Thanks for some truly amazing dances, ladies. 1st Place in Intermediate Pro-Am Strictly Swing w/Jeanne DeGeyter AND 1st Place in Intermediate Pro-Am Jack & Jill w/Sabrina Paxmann . I had a grrrreat time at Summer Classic.  The music was great Saturday night, with Victor in the DJ booth (as always) but he played faster music than he generally does, but he did throw in some of my faves.  The dancing was off the charts, and I had a blast! A friend from Dallas was there, and he was amazed at the quality of our dancers and said it was obvious we've had some really great instruction here in the past couple of years.  Our hard work shows!  I can't wait to go back to the Gulf Coast. Tampa Bay Classic, here we come!

I had a great weekend at SSC in St. Pete! It's my first time in the Pro-Am J&J, and it won't be the last. There were workshops for WCS, Country Western, Waltz, and the most unexpected Balboa added to WCS. The DJs played wonderful WCS music and squeezed in some 2-step, Night Club 2, even Salsa. I enjoyed every moment of it, which included that Free parking spot I found after 15 min circling around the Hilton. ;)

Summer Swing Classic was amazing fun! Had a great time with old friends, and made some new ones! Took 1st place with Whitney Brown Pro-Am J & J, got 3rd in Pro-Am solo with Alissia Bishop, and Alissia got Third in Pro-Am J & J. Now getting ready for this weekend in Wildwood!
